FAQ

Bedini Generator & Parts

What's a Bedini Generator?

A Bedini-style generator is an experimental electromagnetic system designed to pulse energy into a secondary battery for charging, (per developer specifications). The charged battery can then be used with an inverter to power small devices or systems.

These systems are primarily used for research, experimentation, and off-grid battery management—not as a primary standalone power source.

Does the Bedini Kit come with everything?

No. The kit does not include batteries (input or charge batteries). Batteries and certain connection accessories must be purchased separately.

Do I have to be an expert with circuit boards or electrical to assemble the Kit?

No. The kit does not include batteries (input or charge batteries). Batteries and certain connection accessories must be purchased separately.

Can it desulfate a battery?

Some users report improvements in battery performance when using pulsed charging methods. Results can vary depending on battery condition and usage.

Can I get the parts separately and build a Bedini Generator without the Kit?

Yes. Individual components are available separately for those who want to build or customize their own system.

Is this a primary power source?

No. Bedini-style systems are intended for experimental, educational, and supplemental use only. They are not designed to replace conventional power systems or serve as a primary household energy source.

Are results guaranteed?

No. Performance can vary based on setup, components, battery condition, and operating conditions. No specific performance outcomes are guaranteed.

Who makes the performance claims about this system?

Technical descriptions, performance expectations, and design theory are based on the work and representations of the original developer, Ryan Thompson (Lightning Audio & Sound / Resonant Technologies). SouthwestGadget distributes these products but does not independently test or guarantee specific outcomes.

Warranty & Shipping

Is there a Warranty?

Parts and generator kits may be returned within 1 year of purchase for defects in materials or workmanship. This does not include damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or external physical damage.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. If a returned product is found to be defective, a replacement will be provided. If the issue cannot be resolved, a refund may be issued.

Important: These products are intended for experimental and educational use. Improper use, incorrect wiring, or operation outside recommended specifications may result in damage and will void the warranty.

Warranty Details:

Batteries are not included and are not covered under warranty.

The Bedini Switch Board is designed for 12V DC input. Operating outside this specification will void the warranty.

The Recovery Board is designed for charging higher-voltage battery systems (such as 48V). Ensure compatibility with your battery type and use appropriate battery management systems where required.
